Description

This is something I did when I first got Vue 6 so excuse the beginner look. I have been trying to learn how to get Poser people to look real, but somehow I cannot get their eyes to reflect if I just use the atmosphere lighting. I kind of liked this scene without people. Here is my attempt. Thank you for your comments! Tips about Vue are always welcome!!

Nice image - lots of detail. Importing into Vue can be a problem - I don't have Poser, but I have managed to fix the eyes when importing from DAZ Studio. The texture applied to the cornea and/or eye surface seems to get lost. Try replacing with a transparent material such as diamond or bubble, depending on the look you need.

Beautifully done scene! If you just use atmospheric lighting, you won't get any specular highlights - ambient lighting doesn't create speculars by definition. So you need at least one directional or spot light to see any specular highlights - if you have Infinite or the light pack for studio, you can define specular-only lights to solve this very issue without altering the lighting balance. Or you could do a separate render only with the light you want to use for specular highlights, set everything else to black, and then adjust contrast in photoshop (or whatever you use) to be left with just the highlights, and layer this using screen mode. Hope this is helpful.
