Description

Rarely have I come across a product so unique that I have spent time to share my experience with it. Recently wabe contacted me and asked if I would test his moss pak to ensure it would worked on Vue 6 Inf. I agreed. My feelings were rather neutral about it until I installed it and began using it for the first time. It is very realistic and he has provided so many color and plant varities with his creation of many ecosystems that I came away very thoroughly impressed. There are lots of plant paks and texture paks out there that have knocked my eyes out but this creative idea of his not only impressed me visually but also wooed me by its innovation. No one else has thought one up (at least not like this). The abilty to incorporate realistic moss into my images has always been missing and I never realised it. Perhaps one of the most favorable features of it, besides its looks, is how system resource friendly it is. This entire scene took only an 8% hit on my system resources. After populating all the other plants in the scene I added thousands of moss instances and my system never knew it. I can't wait to see what others are able to do with it. In my opinion, he has not created another product to compete with the thousands of others which are available, but instead, he has invented a product that brings an entirely new approach and ability to Vue.

It looks fantastic!! The best I had done with Bryce involved a photo-texture but it suffered if and when viewed askew. Now I want a "moss-man"! I remember the scary stories at cub scout camp - he'd appear out of the dark, mossy river bank, and eat you alive! That is, unless you drew a big "X" on the window screen by your bunk-bed, using an old black-walnut husk. Needless to say, all the screens had big Xs from all the previous years, but it was still scary. I always put a fresh and quite dark "X" on my screen! Now I think of it, never mind, maybe I don't want to see a realistic moss-man!

This looks very good - Yes I learned quickly when I started looking at vegitation products that you needed quality and low resources in order to really make use of the product. Good news indeed.

Fantastic "promo" pic - that's what a marketing person (which I am in my daily job) calls demand generation. I can barely wait to get my hands on this amazing product! :)

I'm a moss lover, I admit it. I grow moss and love the fact that someone has finally created some truly great moss. You have done a great job in showing off this new creation.
