Description

The room, Suddenly felt too big, and she felt too small. Taia bent over her legs in the hallway of her parents home and wailed. They had all left her alone, for a brief moment, though her uncle Nem, wasn't far. She had been the last to know. She was the last one, living at home, and she was the last to know, that her mother and father, were never coming home again. THe thought reminded her, that the house was too big, too empty, and she was still so very small. Daddy had died, killing the evil that was poisoning the land of Bactrol, and Mama, tied to him through an elven bond, died shortly after. Taia knew, that Abria would have died, even without the bond, She had loved Daddy, so much. Taia too. But she wasn't allowed to die with them. Only sixteen, this was only the first of her pains. She had much more living to do. As if sensing her thoughts, Her uncle came in and gathered her up in his arms. Shh Shushing gently. His hands soothed over her, his own heart full of grief. Mama's parents and Daddy's parents both, had been killed in the fall of Britannia. Grandpa, saving the people of Bactrol from the fall, and Grandma saving her children. Taia's oldest brother was now at this moment, riding to rid Bactrol of the last of Lilith's servants. Taia hoped, he wouldn't die too. Uncle Nemthalas, rocked her gently. Rocked her with the hands that had rocked her Mother. It was easy, to feel too small in her family. They'd all done something Heroic. Even Uncle Nemthalas. Everyone but her. She loved and followed the Goddess, but she was No paladin. nor had she the heart to be one. Her strengths lie more in healing and domestic duties. It was her, Her who cooked, cleaned, and took care of the little things, too mundane for her Mother and Father. She was no hero, and never would be. She let herself cry against her uncle, until she had no more tears. She cried both for the loss of her parents, and for the lost opertunity to make them proud. ~~~ Contents: Thorneworks - Tegan and Eryn DM's -Dark moods MFD- Egyptian dress- Cho's Texture AdamThWaits - Lights Ameil Hair - Daz3d As always. Absolutely gorgeous work. You definitely achieved the (difficult to reach with poser) goal of bringing out a lot of emotion with this. Beautiful job!

Wow, a kindred spirit - another storyteller at heart! Really excellent story and wonderful scene to illustrate it! You've done a great deal here with an economy of props, posing etc. Really masterful! I took a look at your gallery too, and gotta add you as a fav! Great job!

The inner storm is captured in the image and expressed powerfully in the story. Outstanding.
