Description

Morgause was the aunt of Morgaine and the sister of Viviane and Igraine (The Mists of Avalon). In other versions of the Arthurian legends she was the sister of Morgaine or her alter ego. Wow, fantastic medieval style character. Her looks are haunting and tired, tired of the betrayels she has already endured and yet her life is still young. The soft and sublte blurring hints at her ethereal being. And the blaze of red hair speaks to her proud celtic heritage. Fantastic portrait of an oft overlooked celtic character.
