My name is Jessica and am currently 17 years of age.
I started taking pictures almost 4 years ago. I started off using one of my dad's Sony cameras. Then he bought me a little digital camera by Poloroid. When he saw the stuff I was doing, he bought be a Nikon D40, Christmas 07. I still have it and consider it my baby. It is the only camera I have and use.
IÂ began taking pictures of my brother, moved on to random objects, to taking pictures for bands. Now I am still taking pictures for bands, I've shot a quinceanera and a wedding. I do work for an independent clothing company and I'm beginning work with females who want to get in the modeling business. IÂ get paid here and there, sometimes I do a trade, sometimes I do stuff for free only for experience.
I love what I do and I'm proud of the work I do. It makes me happy and gives me something to do :D
Thank you to everyone who has been checking up on my pictures and leaving comments. It really does mean alot to hear what others have to say.

Now I know I've got to get back to the S.D. Zoo soon! I live in S.D. but don't get enough time to do the zoo justice. This is a beautiful shot. JDoc

Excellent shot! I did a similar one once - these snakes tend to sleep like that.
