Description

I figured I'd make a series out of these weather photos. Here is a closer look at the storm from yesterday in B&W. Sorry, the palm tree declined to appear in this shot. ;')

the upsweep of the clouds gives this a poetic gracefulness. And yet, the mood is dark and powerful.

LOL @ the palm tree. I love the drama of black and white, if ever there was a clear distinction in gray! Very dramatic.

Great shot Kort... really love eh B&W treatment (although I think most folks who live in Florida can attest that there have been times when storms can look like this anyway). Lovely, moody image.

Great eye capturing this, Kort. Almost looks like a b/w oil painting. You can feel the power of the storm building...I was in Fl last week visiting the ole gang.

Very brooding shot, the B&W makes it even more intense! Great work!

copy/quote/paste what I said yesterday! The lighting is more interesting in this but I think much that was of interest about the rest of the picture is lost.

Amazing and stunning cloud formations. I think the black and white heightens the image and makes it more striking on the eyes. Tony.
