Stunning work Leah! I often wonder why the old 'cliche' of "You always hurt the one you love" rings out with such apparent truth. It is as if we are doomed to somehow cause pain, sorrow, and grief to those we hold most dear in our hearts. Perhaps it is a human weakness, a moment when one thinks of themselves, rather than the one they profess to love. I have been hurt deeply in my past, but have forgiven and bear no malice - for I know I too have unintentionally hurt others, much to my deep sorrow. The render exquisitely captures this all too common emotion, very well done Leah.
