Description

As you can tell from so many of my fotos, I love the Eel River**. I walk along it several days a week, wander along its bar when the water is low enough. I sit and sun on its banks and swim in it. Hawks and osprey soar overhead, swallows flit about, cattle roam the pastures on the side, it's just full of wonderful, quiet pleasure. In the winter, it can be a raging, nasty entity, but even then it has another kind of beauty. **click here to get a idea of where it is, what it really looks like. You caught this at a special time of day. The reflection is brighter and livelier than the rest of the scene and really stands out like the Hope diamond in a bucket of rocks! Stellar!
