Like many of her race, Tiendyn loves excitement and mirth. Her joyful attitude is immediately visible to all she encounters, a trait that has helped her make numerous friends on her journeys. She is quick to help those in need but knows enough to stay out of local trouble when warranted. Tiendyn is one of the rare (and even more rarely seen) females Satyrs. Most Satyr tribes encouraged the females to stay at home while the males hunt, a tradition that was accepted for generations. However, from an early age, Tiendyn wanted to know what was outside her village and begged to go with the men on hunting trips. After being refused again and again, she set off on her own when she reached 17 summers. Although she almost died on her first trip, the experience was exhilarating and she could do nothing but dream of her next adventure. Her exploits were eventually discovered and frowned upon. However, tribe law explicitly forbade any restrictions against the use of free will so there was nothing they could do to prevent her wanderlust. She became quite proficient with the sword and bow but no amount of hunting expertise could overcome generations of tradition. Most of the tribe shunned her and treated her differently. Each day proved to be more and more uncomfortable for Tiendyn around the village. On her 18th birthday, she decided to find out what laid beyond the edge of the forest. That day marked the first of her many journeys that circumnavigated the world and spread to other realms. Tiendyn could simply not get enough of new races, customs and cultures. Every new discovery opened doors to ten times as many more. As a satyr, Tiendyn has the upper body of an elvish woman and the legs of a goat. Two curled horns poke through her unkept blond hair. During her travels, Tiendyn has picked up a fair share of tattoos, the most obvious being a silver filigree pattern on her forehead and iridescent stars along her neck. *********************************** Another member of the Knights of Legend pantheon.
