Description
As Humanity's First Interstellar War was winding down, newer escorts and warships were entering service. These had the luxury of being designed with the lessons of earlier engagements in mind, and were closer to a true purpose-built warship. Raiders were unable to operate with the impunity of the early days, and the firepower that was brought to bear only made the combatants realize the potential damage that could be done with the tools at hand...

This was envisioned almost as a propaganda poster, but also as something fun to make and render.
The ship was done in Bryce 6.1, background, compositing, and effects were all done in postwork with Photoshop CS 3.
