Description

We went to visit Aachener zoo(Germany) today. This is a Serval(Felis Serval). One off the most elegant in his species. It has his naturel habitat in the Sahara South-Africa. An isolated population lives in North-West Africa(Marocco and Algeria). A protected animal in several states. Height 70-95cm. Tail 36-45cm. Weight up to 18kg. Thanks for watching love Maya

WHAT A GEORGEOUS ANIMAL. THE EYES AND NOSE IS AMAZING. IT LOOKS A BIT LIKE MY CAT IN MY GALLERY. SHE IS A HALF BOBCAT. SIMILAR EYE 'MAKEUP' . LOL.

Great shot! With its excellent hearing (obvious)it locates and pounces on its prey it can't see most of the time. My favorite small African cat is the caracal. It can make a 2 meter leap to snag a bird in flight.
