Description

This is my first serious attempt to create my own environment, Its been great fun, created completely in Carrara. The cubes use a custom normal map for their detail. If anybody would like to see the room in the market place or think they could help develop the room further, please let me know. This poses some interesting future proofing questions. If it was terrestial it would be pressing the freespan limit. But being in space it has more the personnel passage of a ship or submarine narrowness to contend with. So this specific length and width show us your assumptions about a space. It is a set dimension not to be disregarded.

Modeling your own stuff has a level of satisfaction that is quite nice- particularly when results are as good as this! Lots of cool details and areas for lights to peek through and create complex shadows- A very cool sci-fi corridor/room!

Nice modeling work, the possibilities are endless. A bit of mist or fog in there with the light rays shining through would look awesome. Sorry I dont do any modeling, so I can't help you develop it!

Fantastic job on the room! It would serve well as the hold or corridor of a ship or cargo bay. And a remarkable job on the textures. I see it having a LOT of potential to a lot of people. I sincerely hope you do offer it in the market. And if you do so, best of fortune!
