Thank you for stopping by...
Let me first confess that I do not have formal artistic training. I read about tools and techniques and then try to use them to express myself.
In fact, my education focuses on science and engineering. Hence Homus Artistic seems an appropriate name: Â A primitive attempt for artistic expression...
I discovered 3D graphic software early in 2008 and I got hooked. It became the perfect avenue for the images that build up in my mind and I could not realize through photography.
I look forward to learning and sharing in this prolific community of artists
Regards,
    Homus Artistic

Osvaldo, Hmm I don't think I can give you a completely unbiased critique of this image, as you asked me to. But I will tell you what I do like about it and I believe I have figured out why I normally don't care for abstract art. And since I don't know the technical artistic terms, I hope you will understand what I am trying to convey. I like the upper layer of this quite a lot. I like the slanted, or skewed perspective of it. I love some of the shapes and colors in it. I especially like the sense of depth from the diminishing point of view from the viewers perspective. I also actually like the background. I love the lavender color and the shapes in it. They give a wonderful sense of depth to it. However, for me personally, I think the lavender is not the right color to use as a background. I would really like to see this with one of the colors used as a background that you used in the top layer, say perhaps the orange, or one of the shades of blue you used in it. Lea
