Description

You can see how high the Dairy Queen is under water. More pictures to follow of this flood every day. As I can only upload one picture a day.

A very emotional and devastating view. My heart goes out to the victims... the families who will be effected for so very long by this tragedy.

Thanks for showing these photos Cathi. For as bad as Cedar Rapids was hit by the floods, this shows how bad alot of Iowa was affected from Mason City up in the northern part of the state south to Des Moines east to Cedar Rapids. Almost every place in Iowa was affected by major flooding this year. With Parkersburg and New Hartford receiving a double whammy with both the EF-5 tornado that destroyed much of the towns and the major flooding only a week or so afterwards. Once again, thank you cathi for brining the attention back to Iowa. In the coming days I will try to post a couple of pictures that bring hope to Parkersburg as the rebuilding slowly begins.
