My first thought is wouldn't that set off a fire, I guess I get that from growing up in California where fires are a 'season' but I guess your friend must know what he is doing.. interesting shot..

Strong shot ! Very impressive and natural. The fire is the main focus but you work successfully by making the forest "heart-to-heart" with this fire ball!
