Well, this is something very different from your actual kind of works. The atmosphere and lighting are excellent though. The only thing I can think to improve it, is to put some ten naked women on the image. ... if they have big breasts then it would be a masterpiece. 8-)

I reckon like a few of the others... lose the wings... the atmosphere is BRILLIANT! though.

Not being familiar with any aspects of what Poser can and cannot do, I can only offer some advice on the wings. I had a bit of a problem with the wings I used in one of my own images - they did not meld right with the shoulder of the horse and kind of stood out against the coat colour. I would, perhaps, suggest moving them back a bit further along the horses back so they're more at the point of the withers (now they look more like they are in the neck) and perhaps change the transperency/opacity of each 'feather' individually (again, I am not familiar with Poser so this is from a DAZ only perspective). There are morphs in DAZ that you can use to fan the horse's tail a bit more that I've managed to use with some success, that give a less cylindrical effect and make it a bit more natural without the use of PS brushes (for those of us who don't have that option grin). I love the effect you've created with the lighting and fog and adding 'swirls' or even waves in it around the horse's legs or even around the body itself would be a nice touch - again depending on the kind of mood you're attempting to set. I hope this helps you out and best of luck with your image! I will be looking forward to seeing how you work this out.

This looks pretty good cal. I agree about the flat looking wings though, some better ones would serve this image better given the rest of the quality. as for atmosphere I think you nailed it pretty much but in CS you could add DOF to the bum end of the horse with faint mist to make it look more emerged as the pose is towards the viewer. A lil bit of postwork to the tail will serve it well too so it won't look so stiff as horses have beautiful loose hair tails. Good luck I look forward to your final outcome on this image :)

I really dig the lighting and tones in this, and a nice change of pace for you into the fantasy genre. As far as suggestions, maybe some actual rays of light filtering around the outer feathers of the wings. You know, like rays of light shining down from the sun through the clouds kinda thing. Anyways, very cool and very well done

I really like this. it has a wonderful atmosphere. I would like to see the tail look a bit more natural and not so bulky and I think that the wings might be more natural looking if they were a little more behind the should blades.

looks like she is lost, love it!

I don't know if this will make the image any better than it is, but maybe move the sun up so only a portion of it is showing? I agree about the tail, but I like this just as it is.

It´s so beautiful!! Excellent work!! =)

Looks very promising - great atmo and mood. I would change the tail to a wispier style and the horns should be more "turned". Hope this helps to proceed. :)

Wow this is a very different type of image than what you normally render. the atmosphere is good , may be you could try blue or even yellows/reds (as seen in a sunset) I think green is a bit unreal.
