A fine shot of this small animal, Jim. Moth's is beautiful in their own way. Even if they are not as colourful as butterflies. Remember to turn out the light. They hate bulps and candle-ligts shining in the dark.:)

This is really lovely work. Extremely well detailed. I have tried and can't get one even half this good or this close! Outstanding.

Nice capture. I can relate, lol. I just put together a collage of little moths I found by a hall light during a one week time frame. I have come to appreciate the beauty of a lot of these guys. I will post it tomorrow. Thanks for sharing. Lee

These insects usually come into your room (basement) when it is dark outside and deliver the transcendent greetings from someone.... ? If you - someday in the very far away future - are going to die, then you will be lead into the so called "movie-room". There, EVERTHING (!) will be shown to you as an analytical explosion inside your personal life-movie: One shows you that day/night where this nice moth had visited you.... and now the best thing: In those movies they show you exactly who the person, or better, the client was; yes Sir, the person who did send you the greetings, and then you will say to yourself: If I would have known, that she stands behind this, I sure would have called her, and invite her for a walk in the park. Yes, sometimes we can not figure out things... not even in our wildest dreams... therefor it is going to be extreme lighted for all of us, to sit in that movie theatre and do some filled with wonder activities.... you may even get riled, because you did not follow your first thought.... at the time when the flyeress landed near you. Smile me... knowingly. The french say: Postillion d'amour - Deliver the letter, as sooner the better...

A thing of quiet beauty! I spent 20 minutes this morning catching a moth to release outside. And what is KaToFel on?!!! Hilarious!
