Description

Nikon 7900 pocket camera - hand-held image. This little moth disguises itself by taking on the appearance of Bird Droppings, lol. I am always amazed at how critters have adapted physically to help camouflage themselves for survival. Thanks to those who take the time to comment. Lee

I'd hate to live my life looking like poop. :-( But you even make replica poop look good. Astounding shot.

Amazing! amongst the many creatures that use this ploy we have a tiny weevil that I would never have noticed if it hadn't made a move whilst I was pondering who made such tiny droppings! I haven't yet got a decent shot though.

A great mimic Lee, even down to the texture tuft on the head, amazing. I know the Lily Beetle's eggs are disguised similar to this, I have a shot of it somewhere, but a whole Moth thats something else. Couple of excellent shots. Bravo!!!!!
