Wow! My brain has gone on Tango overload. We used to have an advert for Tango, a fizzy drink, and in those adverts they used to get up to all sorts of things. One of them was a huge man dressed in Orange and when someone took a drink of Tango he used to pop up and give them a slapping, and the catch phrase was "You've been tangoed". The vibrant colour of this image just reminded me of that advert, it's electrifying, if a picture ever had Zap, this is it. It reaches out of the screen and gives you a good slapping. I think it's fan-bloody-tastic! Bravo!!!!!

Cannas are one of my favorites. Especially the orange colored ones, like these. I've also tried the very dark-leaved ones, but their flowers are crappy...seems as tho the show-stopper on those are the leaves. Great macro shot, Marilyn.

I love orange cannas too. We had a whole stand of them down the side of the driveway when I was a kid, and I was fascinated by the little green knobby thing left after they flowered. This is a marvelously glowing shot!

Heh heh, I knew exactly what you were referring to when I saw the word, canna, in the title. Others have used the pun on me when I've posted shots of the plant. I've never seen the orange variety before; all we have around here are of the yellow ilk. Superlative closeup of the exotic flower, Marilyn!
