Description
If ever there was an Elf that was kind to the kindred of Dragonkind, it was Turaha. All of Dragonkind in Ravenswood knew that if anything ailed them -- wound, hunger or hunter, they would find refuge and protection with her.
Zalomar, a gold she had raised from a hatchling after his clutch was destroyed in a cavern collapse, knew this better than any of his kin...and took full advantage of the soft hearted Elf maid's kindness. Not like she minded a bit. Though, now nearly a half-grown, he could be imposing enough on his own. But he looked on her as one of his own and treated her as such...even if she was the oddest looking dragon he'd ever laid eyes on...well, once he'd seen another true dragon, that is. He was imprinted on her and offered her the protection that others of her own true kind never could.
On one particular evening he had been hunting, a curtesy he exchanged to her for her protection and companionship, and ran afoul of a particularly uncooperative bristled bruss and suffered a wound to his paw.
Whimpering pathetically once in range of her sanctuary he landed and nuzzled to her for aid for his aching talon. Indulgently, she smiled, plied a soft, soothing and healing touch to his injury and playfully chided him: "Oh, don't be such a baby!" as he nuzzled to her with deepest affection for his kin.

That is absolutely adorable my dear! Probably one of the sweetest dragon scenes I've ever seen. Love the posing, the gentleness of how he nuzzles her and how she tends his talon, and the expression on Turaha there is priceless! Such a lovely lass! And the story is just as cute as the image. You spin stories with your images and pictures with your words, both complimenting each other perfectly.
