Description

This picture was done on several layers, with seperate renders for the city and the girl and platform, then the reflection of the city on the platform. finally the comet was added last. basicly it was an experiment in Photoshop Techniques. Not the best illustration, but I think it came out ok. Opinions? BTW- thanks for all the past comments and rateings.

VERY impressive meld of techniques! The one thing that I find a bit...off...maybe its the reflection of the trees/mountains as well as the buildings in the platform. Based on depth shouldn't they be smaller in their reflection than the buildings of the foreground? They just seem a little too close but then mayhap my perception is skewed and that they're right on. (again, it is 3:30 AM as I post this so the latter is more likely) Regardless of my ramblings (which feel free to ignore as I am in NO positition to critique anything done in PhotoShop) I LOVE the scene, it reminds me of something of an old book cover of my Dad's somewhere (please don't ask the title), or something from Night of the Comet. Beautiful work and I LOVE the lense flare from the light of the comet. It's beautiful work.
