Description

[best viewed full sized] Hello my friends! This is the first chance I've had to log on to R'osity since starting my new job four weeks ago as a Wine Advisor for an international wine producer. I'm working a lot of hours at the moment and dont know how often, or when I'll be able to be here but I will every chance that I get. This little locust was feasting on a piece of carrot before being lunch himself for Rob's (Chrissy's son) lizards. There was too much going on in the pic and the colours clashed so I decided it may look better with selective colour. Your views on this are most welcome. Thanks for looking and any comments and critique are, as always, more than welcome and valued!

Now you just know that macro photography is my all time favourite genre and with results like this, you can understand why I’m sure! Excellent capture of this meaty morsel with brilliant colours and clarity. I don’t need to wish you luck in your new job, I know you are making a success of it already – as for the hours you work, well, we can’t have everything I suppose but at least you love the job so that’s some consolation for you. A brilliant shot Carl, and perfectly postworked. Hugs Chrissy xox

I think it would look great with the carrot's color showing through, but it also looks great just like this. Either way, it's a wonderful capture. The detail is fabulous. Congratulations on it... and the new job. A wine advisor, eh? Now there's a job I wouldn't mind having. Lucky Chrissy, she must be having some really incredible wines with dinner! Best to you both -M :^)
