Description

There is a trend in society that I find very disturbing. The more populated the world becomes the less we seem to know about the people surrounding us. I wanted to capture the feeling of ever increasing isolation as we become ever more overcrowded. If you click for the full size image its huge, 2000 pixels wide.

You are absolutely right. There was a time when all neighbors knew each other and you never had to lock your front door. These days we all seem to sneak around trying to avoid each other, blaming it on "privacy" and lots of other things. This render looks like something taken out of a nightmare...but when I read your description I realized that it's one of those awake nightmares that we all have. Great work :)
