Description

I took this while riding thru the rockies..I wanted to capture the storm cloud hovering above us..Not to sure how well I did but I think it turned out ok...Every time we would go thru Colorado it would rain, Colorado and I didnt get along..LOL...downpooring on us in the mountains was not my fav on this vacation..It gave me a heart attack..lol.. Speed limit was only 15 miles and hour a cliff on both sides with no railing and the next stop was 50 miles away so we had to continue on and it was really hard to see with all the rain..I hope i never have to experience it again..LOl all and all though it was a good vacation if I can take that part out of it..*smile* Still not to sure why my husband picked that route I think he wanted me to see the view..LOL..It was some view all right...LOL Thank you for viewing my gallery and for any comments you wish to make..Jen

this is not bad from a point and shoot but i think if you had took this shot with your rebel and an nd filter you would have captured more detail in the clouds .thats one beautiful landscape though .looks breath taking :o)..excellent capture jen mick

Lovely mountain vista. It is hard to imagine that the narrative is true just by looking at it from this POV. Great clouds hovering overhead!

my first time in Colorado, it rained harder than it had ever up to that time.I could not see the road in front of me so I left the window open a little and watched the yellow line.I was afraid to stop as no one could see anything beautiful mountainscape and capture

The light of the incoming storm really electrifies and intensifies the colors in the mountains. Fabulous job.
