It's about 3 cms across now! It looks to me like a cartoon cactus plant.

well, cactuses have always been a little out of their minds! This is a big burst, and I love those yellow cat-paws on the end of each petal. (Petal? Or are those stamens?) A nice burst in a sea of yellows & greens. From your gallery, I get the impression that your garden must be a symphony of bursts, like, when you go out in the morning, you need sunglasses! A big bright burst of a shot. Joyful and very cheery.
