Description

Today's render is a view which developed from, "Calm At Sunset." There are many additions...changing the POV, moving and adding to the terrains, foliage, lighting and water. The distant clouds on the horizon were added to the sky plane using four elongated (stretched) and over-lapping spheres. It was a tad difficult finding just the right ones for the desired effect. Again, these last six landscape renders were to demonstrate just what one can do with a single terrain map to create many different looks, places and moods. So, when that proverbial 'render block' sets in...and I get it, as well...try re-working an older terrain. You never know just what's waiting in there to be explored. Enjoy and thanks for viewing and commenting. Bryce Resized, sharpened and signature with Paint.Net

a person could walk right in to your landscape, and I would have my camera ready to capture your sunset or rise

I often go back to an old layered pS file when I have a block and see what I can move about and add. This has really special light qualities and a nice glint on the water that works well. Another excellent render!

I've gotta say Keith, this series has been very inspiring...to see how you've created so many great images from one series of terrains is a lesson for all of us!The distant clouds are very well rendered, something I'm still trying to get to look realistic...the lighting and colour scheme work very well, and the composition lets you wander through the scene...very well done!!

Fabulous landscape scene Keith and a good demonstration on how changing a few things here and there can produce such wildly different images. Excellent sky colouration in this one. Maybe I'll need to apply your techinique to some of my old Bryce renders as I've had the 'block' for well over a week now. Tony.
