Description
We have a strange language. Have you ever heard some of these phrases? It's the bees knees... crazy like a fox... green with envy... mad as a wet hen. Now how in the world can we know how a wet hen feels when its mad? Like it or not... language is ever so interesting. Having said all that, then how should we take the phrase: 'we have to die to the old to be born to the new?' Do we take it literally? No, not really and yet somewhat. How can that be... two things at once? To die to the old is to let go of that which no longer serves us. We can release an old thought and take away any power it might have had in our lives. "Not enough" can be replaced with "I always have plenty to share and plenty to spare." "I made a mistake" can be replaced with "I missed the mark this time, but I have learned to improve my aim for the next time." So today... before you think another thought... before you say another word... take time to listen to your self-talk and do a little word weeding (yes, we can weed anything these days... LOL). Weed out the "should have's," "need to's" and "can't's". Today... just for today we shall learn to replace them with positive feedback words like 'I desire to,' 'I succeed in my endeavors easily and effortlessly' and my most favorite one is 'I choose to just for today.' Let us remember that nobody really has to, they choose to do something... we don't really need to do something, we either want to or we choose to... and lastly... we always can do something. We merely choose how much of the 'can do' we wish to do. It is all in our perspective... our point of view. And most certainly our view point is based upon the mood we chose for the day. So... before we think another thought, let us listen to our inner Self. We just might be surprised what it has to say to us today. How divine. How simply divine.
Our thought for the day is: 'If I choose it, I will think it. If I think it, I will do it. If I do it, I will achieve it.' Gayle O

I see eggs in this lovely design, symbolic of new life. I agree that we have tapes inside our heads that just play messages without us even thinking about it, or realizing how those messages are telling us what to do and how to feel. Just for today, I'm going to turn off those tapes and say nice things to myself.:o) CC
