I left Renderosity permanently because the management of this site didn't treat me fairly (they think they can do whatever they want, even if their actions are not based on any rule, and they still expect people to obediently bow their heads when they do so).
I will not delete my galery here but I will not update it with new images either. My new gallery is at DeviantArt (much better site!), under the name ArthurBlue.

Great work! Thanks for the explanation too!. Must learn to use Vue one of these days.

Incredible work, first class.

Wow. That is a seriously impressive render. (300 billion polys. . . . O.O)
ArtPearl
The scale of this image is very impressive, but even more so are the details. Wish I could zoom in even further.

Interesting. 3x10^9 polygons. =) That's a lot of memory and computations. Since I've programmed 3d rendering engines in C++, I have an idea how crazy that is. Good job! (5)

Nice idea, like it!

Awesome!

Like the idea and how you carried it out.

Excuse me while I faint, now. Holy crap, man! You're kidding! 300 Billion? Vue Infinite is cool alright! Great work!

Wow, impressive indeed! The technic part is too far away for me to understand, but i like the pattern made by the river that drives right to the skull. The villages contrast with the skull, as we are more used to imagine a giant skull in a desertic place, but it's a good idea to break the classic stuff :) I agree with ArtPearl, i would like to zoom in ^^ And pardon me if i pass for a goose, but what is GC2?

Wow. It has a Peter Pan flying over Neverland feel to it for me.

Excellent detailed work! I've played around with similar concepts in Bryce and Carrara, but not Vue...yet. No limits in Vue, what potential!
TheWingedOne
Holy cow! Very impressive landscape, masterly done as all your artworks. Thanks for the detailed explanation of the how-to. Probably you can create a tutorial with images for the Vue tutorial section. I'm pretty sure there are a couple of people who'd be interested in it.

This is so brilliant and real, as if I can just land in this scene and start walking around. I'm sure my comuter would just fall over if I asked it to render that many polygons. 5_plus

Excellent! Love the dizzying perspective! It's very obvious a lot of work went into this render!
