Description

Hello All Been awhile since I posted so thought I would post the surprise Hollyhock tonight..Last year in this spot was a black hollyhock...and now this year there is a white and another one growing....I have no idea where it came from unless from some older seeds that I had......Don't get me wrong I love the White Hollyhock but loved the Black Hollyhock even better...it was so much more dramatic.....LOL I never got around to getting my test done..my car messed up and had to put it in the shop for a few days..but the part was relatively cheap and so was the labor..the wheel baring was about ready to drop off so glad we discovered it on Sunday night instead of me taking off that Monday morning.... I was suppose to have chemo today but wasn't feeling up to par so re scheduled it for Wed... Hubby has got called at another job interview for Wed if he passes the safety test, orientation test, he is considered hired..please keep your fingers crossed he gets it..he goes on Wed when I go get my chemo...and they told him to come ready to work in case he did pass....Will work 2nd shift Mon Tues..off Wed work Thur Friday and mandantory Sat...maybe then can keep adding slowly to our bank account and I can get moved in my mom's house...have been looking at different options such as paneling, wood...panel half way up then paper the rest....so many things to consider..then there is the drywall as well.... Will have to re schedule all my tests as well cuz the car was being repaired....and 2 wks before that I was in the hospital all my blood work was out of whack...and I was so deathly sick...but I am feeling better.... All post work on this image was done in PSP9 I added border, text, and frame, soften, one step fix, hue, & saturation... Also a Happy Birthday to Marlene and a Happy Birthday to Dawn who both have birthdays today... Hope you all had a wonderful birthday All comments most appreciated..... Hugs Susan aka Blush~

Susan this is a gorgeous flower! I don't think I have ever seen a black one. I would have loved to have seen that. How in the world can you remember what you posted a year ago! I can't remember nothing I did a week ago! hahahaha I do hope your Hubby gets the job and will keep that and you in my prayers. You keep a eye on your health now and don't put stuff off to long. I do know how sick and tired you are of having to go back and fourth to Doctors and hospital. I had to do the same sometimes every week for months. Sometimes I just wanted to throw my hands up and say forget it but couldn't because my son depends on me. Take care of yourself because their is a lot of us here that loves you sister! Beautiful photography and flower as always. Priss

A lovely shot of this pretty hollyhock. I know my morning glories seeded themselves but came up purple and pink instead of blue the next year. Perhaps these do the same thing? Good luck with the chemo, wishing you well!

I think Hollyhocks are biennial so it can be a seed from 2 years ago. But I also heard that they can regress back to their original colors somehow. I'm not sure! Beautiful job on this, Susan.
