Hi there, here we are back for more: another part of the complete digital representation of the b&w illustrations & interior spoof covers from the "GIRLS GALORE II" book. Today it's page 11, illustration No.8. It shows a "Miss Perdita Pingo & her admirer Sir Pommery Penith". Don't get any ideas with the last name;-) FOR MORE IMAGE DETAILS SEE THE IMAGE IN 100% VIEW! The b&w drawing was made old school then with pen & India ink. The brushes were Rothmarder, size 000,00,2,3. Hope you enjoy this! If so, be back next time! I have been asked recently to do some freehand art... I haven't done any in 2 years... since I found 3D programs... I was excited about it, but don't know if I want it now... I think the size of the image is starting to affect my decission... 6ft x 20ft - and then, it's an image I don't care to paint... the decissions of an artist - does that penquin talk too? Does the background represent global warming?

There is some Frazetta influence, when at the beginning of his carreer Frazetta drew comics. Very decorative and acomplished composition with clear inking. I enjoy it!
