Description
These are two tomatoes from Leah's vegetable garden that we moved last month. Previously I had always thought moving dirty laundry was somewhat strange, but to dig up an outdoor vegetable garden and move it along with everything else was a new one!
These two are grape tomatoes, not to be confused with cherry tomatoes. In addition to moving these plants we moved her okra, corn, basil, and some greens too. The reason they're a mystery is that she never planted any tomato plants. But 3 of them came up, all in the same area.
So last Sunday morning we had some fresh grape tomatoes in our omelet. Nothing tastes better than fresh veggies from your own garden, mystery or not!

When my neighbors moved, they gave me their asparagus plants, roses, ferns, all kinds of things--so I'm no stranger to moving gardens!! And you're so right, anything you grow always tastes better!!

Great macro! It is true; your own, fresh grown always tastes better than store-bought.

My Mom, an old farm girl, would call them "volunteers". What a lovely example of serendipity.

Birds. They leave seeds where you didn't ask them to, but it's not always unwelcome! :) Beautiful.
