Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Could the source of the movement possibly be continuous inperceptible earthquakes? Really like the top shot blended brown bluff contrasted against the blue sky, Marilyn. The bottom photo is no piker either with the sharp, craggy and striated features dominating the scene. Great stuff, young lady!

My biggest fear - I do mean fear - along the upper coastline is in the areas visited by rouge waves. I have been drawn to the beaches and rocky waterline there before and dashed away only split seconds before a wave came crashing down sucking everything in sight back out with it. This has to be awesome to visit. I have never been to a place where the crumbling is constant. Stellar shots, both.

Wonderful captures...wise move NOT to get under that crumbling hill face, you need to draw the line somewhere! Maybe you should take daily shots and catalog the changes?
