My first love is cars and in 1983 I restored a 1960 Corvette, which I still own. My other interests are computers, computer graphics, music, hockey (I still play at least once a week in the winter).BIOI hope to teach myself 3D modeling and I've played with Wings3D and Vue D'Esprit...

The white wall tyres make a striking contrast to the black beast, nicely captured...hey, is that lady asleep ! no way I could do that with all the wonderfully restored cars around ! ~Cheers~

I am not sure about its current role but she sure was an elegant lady in her heyday.

Love the deep murmur of those flatties. This looks like a 1949-53 8BA with the water outlets and radiator hoses coming from the front of the heads. The oil filter is a touch. I would say 1949 Mercury pillbox hubcaps. Cycle fenders on the front wheels but no bobs on the rear. The only real modern touch is what looks like an electric fan enclosure behind the radiator to avoid the overheating and vapor lock so pandemic to the flathead in parades. You're the expert on wheterh it is a genuine steel deuce or a fibreglass reproduction and even whether it's a more common Model A. The raised pin-striped bead with no branches that runs along the upper near edge of the body seems to say deuce. You could get out a tape and measure the wheelbase to be sure but it might be on deuce rails to fit the V-8. 102.5 or 106 inches?
