Description

ZOOM IN FOR BEST VIEWING Hey everyone! I've been away for a week or so on holiday so I'm a little behind on eBots right now. I expect to catch up soon though. Thanks for stopping by and having a look. Yes, I know, two more gloved maidens - well maybe. I can not speak to these ladies' love life and prim conservative dress is no sign of chastity in the City of Dystopia. The city may have done a lot in the last few years to make the place less 'slippery' both figuratively and litterally (snicker), but there are still many things at large that you might not want to risk touching. Besides, the gloves look nice. Dystopia: If you think it looks weird now you should have seen it before. This is my very first Poser 7 rendering. I obtained a copy of Poser 7 a few months ago however I found it rather difficult to work at first. Also, I loathed the prospect of rebuilding my rather hefty Runtime. But after much nashing of teeth, I discovered that one can integrate old Poser Runtimes into Poser 7 without having to reconstruct them. Another plus seems to be that in spite of the larger processing and memory overhead, Poser 7 does appear to be smarter at managing memory than Poser 6. This rendering actually began life in Poser 6 but ran into some memory issues. Once I was able to integrate my Poser 6 Runtime, I decided to attempt it in Poser 7 and it worked out well. Incidentally, I came up with a really neat way of dealing with poke through for this rendering. Sometimes you can connect a math node (set to one - default) to the Displacement of the texture suffering poke through. Make the Displacement some small amount (say 0.1 inches), this will slightly raise the entire texture so that the poke through is closed off. Cool! As always, honourable mention goes to the following artists for their free contributions: Bice for the Valenzia character for V3. Adorana for the Leonlin and Triora Hair for V3. Stonemason for the Sky Traffic and Floater Bot. ISOP for the gloves and stockings from the Maid Dress for V3. trillium36 for the Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly. geralday for the Bible. 3dpmr for the Park Bench. sagersweb for the Orange prop. Moebius87 for the Dystopia City. sagersweb for the Column. DAZ for Victoria 3. Other credits: Nose stud and nose ring come from DAZ3D's Victoria 3 Piercing Pack

Good idea about the poke through, I'll have to remember that one. Also, is it just me or is there a little frog on the light post?

Hm the whole composition is really well setted, i have to say this picture brings a lots of things and that's the most essential. Now in my opinion you should try another kind of lights and work more on textures to improve your picture "looking" quality. Keep goin on!
