Description

A lucky shot-- these guys were moving very quickly. The bird on the left is a currawong, one of the bullies of the bird world, and it seemed intent on attacking the cockatoo. Both put on quite a show of high speed aerial acrobatics for me.

Funny, isn't it, how birds can be known as bullies...this one, blue jays, crows... and yet, in the end, those are the birds that preserve their food sources, nesting areas and community life so successfully. They aren't normally the friendliest to humans and or the loveliest of song but they sure are the sturdiest of the air. I love this shot. such power, grace and feel to it.

There always has to be a brat around to ruin things for everyone else. Enjoyable as always!
