Description

I took a little nature walk again early morning this week, thru the same area as before, where I found the mulberry tree. The city had finally mown the empty lot and I was able to walk along the edge of the lot for the first time in two years and to my complete surprise growing in all that overgrowth is a huge bush of what I believe are concord grapes. I am going on memory of the grape arbor that my gran had...at any rate they are small red grapes. And I remember gran making jelly and my mom making wine from them...Its a pity that I can't get into the brush there because I would be making some jelly! Btw I was finally able to taste the mulberry, YUM!!! Much tastier than blackberries and not all those awful seeds! Thanks for looking and for previous comments!

A super shot! I'm not keen on blackberries either, and it's a shame as the crop is superb this year!
