god, the witch is all passion and explosion, shaping the space around her like a great fulcrum, and the forest around her has this 'washed on' feeling, like she materialized it for us with a wave of her wand. It's thought on, remembered on, whispered on. Lovely background trees, and a whole lot of powerful spindly branches in the foreground. This is deeply organic stuff. And your 'canvas' feels like silk to me, like the fine-meshed silk that the Chinese, Koreans & Japanese painted on: It gives this the feel of an old delicate album leaf. It's beautiful, and the tones (the hues) are just right, like you caught them more than painted them, like they were waiting at twilight for you to come by and grab them, and you did...
