Description
After the fall of the Dark Gods a few millenia ago at the hands of the Godslayers, this planet was no longer known as Earth, it became Darkworld. At the hands of the Dark Gods who descended on to this planet they nearly wiped out the human race, until a few fought back including the slave races they brought with them. These people were to become the legendary Godslayers, who possessd unfathomable courage and strength, and due to the bringing of the slave races like the Wolfen to Darkworld, these slaves began to have abilities that they did not have on their homeworlds. These new found powers may have been caused by the ravaging of the planet by the gods that enslave them.
Every once and a while the "ghosts of the past" will make them selves known forever reminding the inhabitants of Darkworld of its sinister past. As for the Godslayers they disappeared into obscurity over the last few millenia, with many not even knowing why the world is this way now, but those who are descendants of the the Godslayers will always remember since its passed down through the bloodlines like a genetic memory. For Kanar of the Wolfen Clan and Devon Ryder this rings true for they are descendants of the those legendary heroes and only these children can quell these "Ghosts of The Past"
Although it may look as if these two are about to go to battle with each other, this is not the case at this particular time and place. They just happened to be in the same place at the same time. And together they will quell this small uprising from the past

When I first saw this image, I thought that it was something along the line of maybe 'Little Red Riding Hood' 2nd or 3rd generation... the story you posted with this of course cleared up my confusion thank you Great image and great story

Epic scene for sure. Before I read the story I thought it should have been titled something like "the encounter" but now I am not sure if these are antagonists or allies. Whatever, the scene fairly reeks with dramatic tension. The skin tones on both characters are awesome and that deep dark lighting is terrific.
