Description
This is the companion shot to my previous upload (It was a dark and stormy night...Part 1). As I indicated, I was lucky to get two different bolts that appeared to hit the building...again, this bolt actually hit the ground behind the building.
This shot was taken about a minute before the other and shows the cloud formation a bit better.
That was it for shots that evening...after just a few shots, it was a quick run back to the safety of my truck before the skies dumped both rain and hail.

A very dramatic storm shot.

Great capture - looks like it's straight out of the horror film vault!! We had the Mammutus clouds yesterday - very freaky - they remind me of the bottom of a boiling pot.

I was scrutinizing your photo for post work but it seems real, excellent timing and capture. Very dramatic.

Very good shot. I like this one more than the other for its cloud details; and the bolt seems to hit the house directly. Amazing capture!

Holy crap John that is awesome!! I've tried to get lightning shots myself and it is VERY difficult (I know you can by a trigger but we just don't get that many storms in Sydney). Any hoo - great photo!!!
