Description

Yesterday a quarter of a mile from the office, I had to stop and take three photos. The lawn was occupied by several crows and one lone hawk. I took these shots from the road. Sadly the hawk flew before I could think of getting closer. Thank you for looking and for any comment you care to leave. Such as GB you ought to have a camera with a lens capable of more zoom than 67mm....

Those are really interesting shots! Those crows look pretty nervous, clustered together like that.

Hehe. Neat photos. I like how they're interacting in their subtle ways, the crows are actually interacting with the hawk, even. For us, it's usually three blue jays and a rabbit. Sometime I might catch a good one of them, but we're watching while cooking breakfast and when that's over, they're all gone on their way.

Wow! How lucky you were George! Beautiful hawk, significant shot of the three ravens! Love that you caught him in flight! There is a falcon here that I hope will get close enough for me to get! Wonderful captures!

It may have flown; although you've certainly captured it beautifully! :) A lovely field and shade of green! Wonderful perspectives as well... very refreshing and inspiring!

Wonderful photo story! I once saw something similar, a bunch of crows watching two eagles eating, but as soon as I tried to get close enough for a shot, off they flew!
