As a kid I touched the chrome badges often, and looked at my reflection. Fantastic textures and earthly colors.

The pattern reminds me of cowhide. :-) You have revealed what time and weather has done wonderfully.

LOL, great shot!! Reminds me of one of those old jokes: ie--old accountants don't die, they just lose their balance or--old photographers don't die, they just don't develop!! Sorry, haven't had much coffee yet!!

Now,if they built the rest of the car out of the logo material....you wouldn't have this great picture....see,Chevy thinks of these things....Hah!

To expand on yardobe's comment, if they built the chevy out of the same material as the logo, it would still be driving round looking like new. Landrovers were built with Aluminium bodys and lasted twice/three times longer than cars before the rot sets in. Excellent capture Sue, I agree with PJ and her comment about cowhide. Excellent work. Bravo!!!!!

Great POV. By any chance, is this old truck located at the Kansas City zoo? I captured my 2 year old grandson on the right front fender of a vehicle with similar worn outness :-) Bill
