Hi. I am really impressed with the new GI motor. This is to me superior to the old GI motor. It seems that calculations is far more complex with R11. I cant wait to upgrade! This image is just done with the default settings and no postwork. :) Strata

The modeling looks simple (but probably some elements are not), but the light distribution is simply fantastic. I don't have the R11, I have the 9.0 with no upgrade possibility because it's an entire suite and it would cost me a lot, especially because I have a press NFR sample which is not upgradable. But what you say about needed resources is not very surprising. Recent softwares use a lot of resources and I was stunned by what is necessary to run the Adobe Creative Suite 4. Apparently only Quark (with XPress8) and Daz are conscious that one cannot ask more and more to poorer and poorer illustrators and printers. This is crazy, because often very few new functions are added to the new versions.
