Description

Of course this desktop is not mine ! This picture has been done with Vue2.1, spatch, and Amorphium. The desktop texture comes from homepage_ntworld site. The rendering took 11h in ultra mode (PIII 933MHz in ultra mode). Any comments welcomed. Yves

Very nice and photolike:-). Could be an advertising for a pen. "Stylo" est bien plus beau que le Bic.

I like pictures like this: close-ups that reveal artistic detail. Nice job!

LoL gebe !!! Eh bien, Yves, c'est parfait, comme d'habitude ! Ca devient lassant ;-) Le jour otu auras Vue4 entre les mains, tu vas tous nous enterrer... (approximative translation for no-frenchies : "Well, Yves, it's perfect, as usually ! That becomes boring ;-) The day you'll have Vue4 in your hands, you will bury all of us...")

Nice image - the pen looks fantastic. My only comment for improvement is for the texture map of the desk - since the shot is so close up the resolution of texture map is showing in some square pixels near the pen. If you have a more highres version of the map available it would look even more realistic and wouldn't show pixel break up, If you don't go into the Vue texture dialog and turn on the pixel interpolation settings - and see which one works best. These settings come in handy for lower-res texture maps. That is my only suggestion - I like your work Yves. Scott
