Description

Hi everyone ..thanks you so much for commenting on my 1st trip shot .. I appreciate it a lot .. I will get to commenting on your work as soon as I can .. One of my kittys had surgery yesterdy and hes not feeling well so Im trying to help him as much as I can plus he keeps ripping off the collar off his neck thats there to protect his stitiches .. ! This is Mount Robson , British Columbia in Mount Robson Provincial Park ....the peak of Mount Robson is the highest in the Canadian Rockies, towering 12,972 feet (3954 m) over the western entrance to the park. As well as occupying a portion of the Main (Park) Ranges of the Rockies, the park, one of the oldest in British Columbia, also contains the headwaters of the Fraser River

Utterly fascinating scenery, Lu. To see the clouds skirting the top of the peak is awesome...Summer down below, Winter up above.

Now that is one big beast of a mountain. All magestic and impregnable, the way a proper mountain should look. Its top poking above the cloud line, the snow covered terraces and all set perfectly above the tree line in the valley, wonderful stuff. Only one small crit (I hope you dont mind) I can make out signs of Postwork, theres some darkening to the left of the hill and some slight lightness just above the trees in the foreground. Cracking shot none the less.

This certainly looks like the mountain was chiseled by a powerful hand for this spot. Excellent eye and fabulous capture of this breathtaking scene.

Stunning shot, great capture. I was there back in May & it's a stunning place. Mount Robson was covered in cloud when I was there but still a wonderful & awe inspiring mountain.

Fantastic shot, and makes it look even higher than it is! We've got several "14ers" here--mountains that go up to at least 14,000 feet--do they have some of those up there too? Surely they must! Really gorgeous, and well captured!
