I've read the comments everyone has left, and smile. Those of us who live in cities of the "westen world" forget very fast where our meat comes from! Not everyone in this world has the benefit of refrigeration, grocery stores, and factories to process their food. I think the majority of the world lives much closer to their source of meat then we do. Your photography is wonderful journalism of life, social justice and injustice, and brings facts to many of us who would otherwise not know what is REALLY know what is happening outside of our own homes. The girls look very happy, and as someone else commented, perhaps part of their joy is in knowing there will be a bit of pork on their plates today.
