Description
Top photo captured 7/12/08, bottom one 8/14/08, very early in the morning, 1.1 miles/1.77 kilometers from my domicile.
Top picture no problem because I was outside the enclosed bus area on a Saturday when the place was not open, but the bottom shot, taken on a Thursday, initiated a frenzied and wild eyed reaction from employees, shouting something at me like, "whatever you intend to do with those pictures, you trespasser, it's going to be something evil, destructive, and malevolent!"
But this time, rather than innocently replying, "I'm just snapping photos for a worldwide website, and you'll be famous for it," I simply ignored them and went about my business, briskly leaving the scene very soon after. For whatever reason, they weren't up to following me, so I got away scot-free -- this time. Paranoia reigns.

Not as slow up the mountain as the older Crowns. I guess that is why I remember the slow truck at Monarch Pass in the 50's. Slow! did I mean interminable.
