Azara se preparaba para la lucha tanto como los caballeros, y fue a hablar primero con la diosa Dana.
-Quiero gritar a los cuatro vientos, a la lluvia, a los bosques, o al oeste luminoso, al este esplendoroso, al norte extraordinario, al sur inmenso, al sol maravilloso,
al insecto, al ramaje, al animal, al extranjero, al ser humano.
Oh tierra adorada! Madre tan violada, forzada y azotada como ninguna:
¿Cuándo nos vomitarás? Tu diafragma, tu cintura. ¿Cuándo nos parirás tú madre tierra? De pena explotarán, tus petroleras lágrimas. El tiempo mostrará lo que yo veo, tus contracciones ya muestran tu fiebre, tu furia de mujer madre vejada… Y nos castigarás, y tajante nadie tendrá pesebre. Oigo tu explosión, tu pecho corazón de terciopelo, ahogado de tristeza de esmeraldas, infesto de traición de tus hijos.
Escucha mi oración, de la savia de los valles, el rugido, de las montañas oye el alarido, del bicho del follaje, de las aves errantes, el aullido, escucha los latidos de la deposición de tus marejadas. Siente las raíces enmarañadas que fluyen por tus arterias.
Mira las melenas de tus manadas, por tus llanos ungidos. Escúpenos a los seres humanos, date el gusto y alarga tu boscaje. Renace las magnolias por el pasaje etéreo de tus manos. Volverás con los fluidos a tener claros días de alegrías.
Después de muchos milenios volverá Dios a crear tu nuevo Edén?-
Azara veía el futuro como un gran profeta, le preocupaba el futuro de la tierra y de los seres humanos. (Fragmento del encuentro entre Azara y la Diosa Dana)
