Description

Networthy spent much time giving me lessons in lighting. I hope you see some progress my friend. Ishtar prepares to do battle with her sister Ereshkigal. No one has ever entered the Underworld and returned, but Ishtar is determined to recover her lover, the harvest deity, to the land of the living. Ereshkigal is equally determined to keep order in her domain. “Tammuz, for you I have passed through the Seven Gates of Darkness. For you I will fight my sister and free you from this land of death. You will return with me to the land of the living and together we will once again breathe life into the world.” 7th in a loosely structured series Ryver character and textures from Rhiannon’s Bladerunner at Renderosity Portia Hair by AprilYSH at DAZ Vandra by Vampire3Princess at DAZ Vandra Styles by Karanta at DAZ Scene elements by DM at Renderosity

Well lighting is sorted- courtesy of your friend Networthy! If I were being super finicky I would have taken the sword into another layer and given it a hint of extra flare and a screen blend, but that's entirely un-necessary. Ths image stands up really well as a super portrait and heroine adventure!

Great close-up portrait. Your characters are always very strong and deserve to be showcased as such. The lighting is really good as well, although, in my opininon, there is something a little off in the shadows and lights underneath her chin. I'm guessing you have a light shining from below? Anyway, it's a minor detail in a great picture. Well done!

Yes, your ever-increasing skills with lighting are evident here. In fact, one can clearly see the progression from image to image. I totally agree with kitzie21's comment. It's wonderful to see these characters portrayed with such strength and passion, and in context.
