Description

Excerpt from Send In The Clowns, by Stephen Sondheim Don't you love farce? My fault, I fear. I thought that you'd want what I want... Sorry, my dear! And where are the clowns Send in the clowns Don't bother, they're here. Isn't it rich? Isn't it queer? Losing my timing this late in my career. And where are the clowns? There ought to be clowns... Well, maybe next year. I simply could not resist a second post of this guy! It almost seemed as if he was posing so I accommodated:-) He hung around for a long time on that leaf, a couple hours or more and then just vanished after I stepped inside for a minute... To Mick; this is the only caterpillar I have seen here this year aside from the little inch worms. Considering all the trees around me, especially fruit trees, and overgrowth, I would have expected more but none...In Washington state they would be spraying for tons of these critters. And to Piet, no, he didn't sting and the hairs are soft not sharp. As a child, I and my siblings were used to playing with these, tho admittedly we got yelled at by my gran if they 'accidentally' got loose in the house:-) Thanks for looking and for previous comments!
