Description

Courage... what is it? Where do we find it? And why would we want it? These are some very interesting points for us to ponder. Courage does not always have to mean that we run out and rescue someone. Having courage can be as simple as doing something that gives us an uncomfortable feeling. And it can be the most simple of things. Driving to a friend's house in an unfamiliar neighborhood. Taking a trip alone for the first time. It can sometimes even take courage to say hello if we are shy. Whatever the reasons may be, our courage will sometimes be put to the test. But there is one thing that takes a tremendous amount of courage and that is being kind to ourselves. Why would this take courage? Because it means that we have to choose to make a change... a change in how we speak and treat ourselves. Old habits die hard. So today... just for today, we shall choose to take the road to courage. We shall choose to be kinder and gentler to ourselves and to those who are in our experience. We shall choose to feel excited about our lives. Today we shall choose to make a shift in our consciousness and dare to step beyond our paradigm. And because we chose to take that chance, our courage will guide us along the way and we shall forever be changed because we dared to choose to make a difference in our lives. How divine. How simply divine. Our thought for the day is: I am only one... but I am the only one who can make a difference in my life.' Gayle O May you always know peace in your valley of life. © Gayle O This is a single flame created in Apophysis 2.08. Some of the variations used in this flame are the linear, hemisphere, spherical, cylinder, scry, foci, and blur variations. Post work was done in PSP. Thank you for stopping by to share a moment of time with me and for viewing my art. Thank you for your comments on this image and my previous images. Each one is like a precious jewel and will always be treasured. I send a most heart felt thank you to those of you who have favored me as an artist or have favored one of my images. Your visits to my gallery mean a lot to me. They make my world a little brighter and bring rainbows to my valley of life. May the light that is within always guide and direct you to your desires and may those desires bring a song to your heart and a spring to your step. Namaste.
